For the Short Biography, go to this schedule page from 2014, click on any person's name and it will take you to their bio. https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale12x/schedule/sunday.html  on that schedule page you can also see examples of the titles of the presentations. Click on the title of the presentation and you will see the Brief Description.

For the Short Abstract, look at some of these examples from 2015: https://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale/13x/presentations?page=10  you can go forward and backward through the pages to see more.  You may notice that for some talks there the brief description and the short abstract at quite similar.

I hope this gives you the info you need! If you have more questions, just let us know. When you change or add to description and abstracts and add your bio, please send copies to us too (in addition to adding it to the CFP page. We need that information too.
